Case Studies

The University of The Bahamas Libraries is a unified system comprising three branches that serve the diverse academic and research needs of the University community:
- Harry C. Moore Library and Information Centre (HCML) – Located at the Oakes Field Campus, HCML houses specialized collections in Bahamian and Caribbean studies, Law, and the West Indies.
- Hilda Bowen Library – Situated at the Grosvenor Close Centre, this library supports the University’s programmes in Nursing and Allied Health Professions with targeted resources and services.
- UB North Library – Located in Freeport, Grand Bahama, this branch supports the academic programmes of the University of The Bahamas North, with general and specialized collections in Education, Business Administration, and General Education.
Together, these libraries provide comprehensive access to scholarly resources, research support, and learning spaces across the University’s campuses.
