Commonwealth Brewery established this merit award in 2015 in support of Bahamian students. Given for international study abroad, recipients must be enrolled in any full-time, undergraduate degree programme.

The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) Managing Partners Group established this award for Bahamian students who have demonstrated financial need and are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree programme in Accounting.

Holzman and children to honour his wife and their mother, Mrs. Jonnie Holzman, an endowed scholarship will encompass her continued passion for young adults through education and the arts. Through the transformative power of education, this scholarship will leave an indelible mark on the lives of students from Exuma and positively impact future generations.

Award Details This unique four-year scholarship is designed to identify outstanding students from Exuma and foster their intellectual growth, refine their interpersonal skills, and enhance their relationship with the University.

This $3,500 annual award provides one (1) four-year scholarship to a qualified freshmen student renewable annually for up to four years if the student maintains the academic standards while exercising practical leadership in university activities and the wider community.

A 2.50 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required and participation in at least one leadership programme and community service on the island of Exuma.
