In this discipline, artistic vision, technical skill, and design innovation are cultivated in our students. You shape the aesthetic and material culture of The Bahamas, preserving heritage, interpreting identity, and imagining new creative futures.
In this department, students strengthen performance, interpretation, and expressive practice. Through theatre, music, and movement, you develop the competence to build collective stories, deepen cultural understanding, and foster empathy and connection.
In this discipline, students are taught linguistic proficiency, intercultural competence, and analytical skill. You are prepared to engage confidently across cultures and economies. Our graduates are equipped to seize opportunities in diplomacy, tourism, international business, and education.
In the Media Journalism programme our students sharpen critical thinking, storytelling, and media production expertise, guided by faculty and mentored by leading practitioners. Here, the knowledge focuses on ethical practice, informed dialogue, and responsible communication. The department prepares professionals who uphold the principles essential to a thriving democracy.
