
Supported by a $50,000 gift from the Bahamas Telecommunications Company, the BTC Technology and Innovation Laboratory will become the centre for technologically-grounded student inventions. Designed by UB architecture students, the lab will be housed in the Harry C. Moore Library and Information Centre, Oakes Field Campus. In addition to state-of-the-art computer-related hardware, the lab will be outfitted with innovative programming software, gaming technology, Promethean Interactive Whiteboard Systems and videoconferencing equipment as well as wireless Internet access.
