Vice President of Administrative Services

As the Interim Vice President of Administrative Services, Dr. Marcella Elliott-Ferguson has oversight for University Athletics; Financial Aid & Scholarships; Institutional Research & Risk Assessment; Recruitment and Admissions; and the Registrar.

Dr. Elliott-Ferguson began her professional career at the College of The Bahamas in 1986 as a faculty member in the Mathematics department. For over 30 years she has served the institution in many capacities, some of which have included Head of Mathematics Department, Distance Education Coordinator, member of the Appointments Board, member of the Disciplinary Board, faculty member in the School of Education, Research Advisory Board sub-committee chair and, most recently, as Registrar.

A proud alumna of the College of The Bahamas who completed an Associate of Science Degree in Physics with Mathematics, Dr. Elliott-Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, a Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Miami and a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education also from the University of Miami. A consultant in Mathematics Education to both public and private institutions, Dr. Elliott-Ferguson serves as a volunteer with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Bahamas Red Cross.
