Each student is provided with a UB e-mail account through the Microsoft Office365 academic programme.  All UB information will be sent via the UB e-mail account as this account is the only officially recognised means of communicating with UB students.  Students are encouraged to use this account for course-related communication and communication with UB in general as opposed to individual personal email accounts.

On initial enrollment, each student is provided with a username and password for accessing their UB account. Students can log on to their accounts at https://outlook.office365.com/owa/#path=/mail.

To access your UB e-mail account:

1. At www.ub.edu.bs, click Webmail: Students (under Log-on to: in the left navigation menu) and follow the instructions or go directly to http://mail.office365.com
2. At http://mail.office365.com, log in with the following formula:
   User ID: your_username@ubmail.ub.edu.bs Replace your_username above with the user name assigned to you by UB, e.g., jgsmith234Password: Enter the password assigned to you by UB.
3. Click Sign in
4. You may be presented with a screen requiring that you set your language and time zone preferences. The time zone for The Bahamas is “-5GMT Eastern Time (US & Canada)”. Make your choices and click OK.
5. If you have entered your log-on information correctly and you are unable to log in, contact the IT Help Desk at ithelpdesk@ub.edu.bs. Be sure to include your full name, UB Student ID number and a detailed description of the problem in your e-mail to the IT Help Desk.
