STATEMENT FROM ACADEMIC SENATE ON AWARDING OF ACCREDITATION CANDIDACY TO UB FROM SACSCOC

The Academic Senate is proud to stand with the Board, the Administration, the faculty, staff, and students of the University of The Bahamas as UB is granted accreditation candidacy by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
This milestone recognises UB’s commitment to academic excellence, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement. Accreditation candidacy is a significant step toward full accreditation as the University strives to set and meet rigorous standards for quality in governance, teaching, learning, and student success.
