Resumption of Remote Operations under National Lockdown

Please be advised that University of The Bahamas will revert to full remote operations effective Wednesday, 5th August 2020 as a result of the announcement by Prime Minister the Most Honourable Dr. Hubert A. Minnis that a national lockdown for The Bahamas will occur for a two-week period effective Tuesday, 4th August 2020 at 10:00 p.m.
Therefore, as of Wednesday, employees are to work remotely until further notice in compliance with the national lockdown. Further instructions regarding specific operations within each unit will be issued by the respective head of department.
Additional announcements will be communicated as necessary. Employees and students are advised to regularly monitor their UB emails, the COVID-19 webpage and the University’s official social media channels for accurate and timely information regarding the University’s operations.
