As a deadly category 5 and then category 4 storm, Dorian’s fierce winds, enormous sea surges and torrential rains ripped through homes, businesses, and infrastructure in Abaco Island and Cays, and Grand Bahama Island and surrounding Cays. Like much of Grand Bahama, the University’s campus in East Grand Bahama sustained severe flooding and devastating storm damage. Nonetheless, we remain hopeful and prayerful that the University and The Bahamas will rebound.
In the wake of this devastation, we appeal to our friends and supporters to give in support of relief and restoration efforts for The Bahamas and our UB-North campus faculty, staff and students. We have implemented a number of mechanisms for your donations including the following:
