Unauthorized Use of University of The Bahamas Trademarks

It has come to the attention of University of The Bahamas (UB) that person or persons have been engaged in the unauthorized use of the University’s logos specifically for application onto merchandise for the purpose of commercial gain. Please be advised that the illicit use of the University’s official logos is a violation for which penalties can be assessed against the offending parties.

UB logos are licensed trademarks. No party shall use the trademarks of the University of The Bahamas, outside of prescribed administrative and academic channels, without the expressed documented consent of the University.

Further, only the Office of Vice President of Finance and Business Enterprise may engage in merchandise trademark usage under the UB brand. Any unauthorized use is a contravention of copyright laws.
