Appointment of the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources

Nassau, THE BAHAMAS — University of The Bahamas (UB) announces the appointment of Ms. Rhonda Richardson-Chase as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, effective 1st September 2022.
As Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Richardson-Chase will assist the Office of the Vice-President of Human Resources with the coordination of its overall strategic objectives and has oversight for managing the daily operations of the Human Resources Department.
A seasoned Human Resources Professional, Ms. Richardson-Chase specializes in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and process improvement. She has attained the PHRi® designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Management with Information Systems.
Previously, Ms. Richardson-Chase served as Executive Director HR Information Systems at Atlantis where she led, coordinated and supported many key human resources initiatives, projects and process implementations.
She is a current Board Member of the Bahamas Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is a Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Bahama Island Cooperative Credit Union (BICCU).
She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling, reading, gardening, and painting.
