maelynn-seymour-major-executive-assistant-to-the-presidentMs. Maelynn Seymour-Major is the Executive Assistant to the President, serving as the senior administrator in the Office of the President with responsibility for coordinating projects and initiatives as assigned by the President. Ms. Seymour-Major also has responsibility for developing and implementing programmes that support UB’s mission and for supervising support staff and operations in the President’s Office. Additionally, she is the primary liaison between the President and members of the Administrative Council.

Previously, Ms. Seymour-Major served as the Personal Assistant – Writer in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and as an adjunct faculty member at the College of The Bahamas, lecturing in Creative Writing and English Composition.

Ms. Seymour-Major obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and her Master of Arts Degree in Poetic Practice from Royal Holloway, University of London.
