FALL 2019 Deferred Payment Plan

Please be advised that improvements continue to be made to the Banner online system for the convenience of students.
Students are advised that, effective immediately, the application and payment process for the Deferred Payment Plan is online, eliminating the need for students to visit the Business Office. Students applying must:-
- Have paid in full all prior outstanding balances reflected on their account;
- Be registered for the semester to be covered by the period of the plan;
- Be a Bahamian citizen or resident;
- Have a $300 minimum balance due in tuition and fees in the semester applied for;
- Pay a non-refundable $50 processing fee;
- Pay the initial, one-third down payment upon enrolment.
Note: Students are not required to submit any documentation to the Business Office in order to apply for the Deferred Payment Plan online.
In order to submit payments, select the “Payment Plans” option on the payment screen of Banner Self Service. Students are reminded that their debit and credit cards may be limited to $1,000 per day and they will need to contact their banks to increase the amount. Online payments must be made via the following:-
- Valid debit card;
- Valid Visa credit card; or
- Valid MasterCard credit card.
The convenience of online payments is available for the following:-
- Processing fee;
- Initial one-third down payment
- Installment payments; and
- Applicable penalty fees.
Installments will continue to be processed monthly. Once the initial one-third down payment is paid, the next payment is due one month after enrolment and the final payment is due two months after enrolment in the Deferred Payment Plan. Students should note that installments will now be shown on the Student Schedule/Bill under a separate “Memo Items” section.
